Cheat Meal!

So what diet can really survive without a cheat day?  It's a great question.  It serves a couple of purposes.  It keeps your body guessing and it serves the psych of knowing the next cheat meal is less than a week away. And if you're going to have a cheat day, you should do it in epic proportions!  3 hours sounds good. Let's see what's on tap for tonight? Well, first we have some appetizers.  Fresh chocolate glazed donuts.  Maybe 3 or so... How about some of that awesome pastry crust from Ledo's?  Gotta love me that buffalo chicken with added blue cheese crumbles.   Match it up with some garlic bread.   So nice.... And we need to wash it down with maybe 3 or so cans of Ginger Cola from Pepsi.  Love the bite!  And the ginger always settles the stomach.  Not that I need it tonight. Maybe take a break and add a few M&M's and some mini peanut butter cups. What's missing?  Oh, some ice ...

Almost 3 weeks in

So the winter break is here and I have a little more time to explain what's going on.  As some of you noticed in one of my posts, a couple of weeks ago, I've put myself under the care of Dallas, TX doctor Cyrus Peikari and I couldn't be more excited!  http://texasmd.com/    He's already identified the primary cause of why I've had so much trouble in the past.  Yeah!  It wasn't my fault.  No more personal shame or feeling bad about myself. In a nutshell, over the next few months to years, I'm going to transform myself.  It's that simple.  I've failed before, but I won't this time.  I have no trouble losing weight.  Loosing lots of weight.  But it always comes back and more.  I finally decided to take a totally different approach.  I'm not concerned with my weight.  Although I'm betting that some may shed off naturally.  I'm more concerned with my overall health.  I'll share some details as I go along.....
